Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter, when she was a character in the show One Tree Hill. She was Alex over its last three seasons. Kramer was then on the show as Portia ranson in 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Her appearance on the show of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre, in which role she continued until the middle of the final season (2012). The actress signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and debuted the country-rock track "I Will Not Go Down" during an episode. The track was later added to Jana Kramer, her debut album, which was released in 2012. This song landed on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, which is in the Top Five. In the meantime, she focused on her career in music, Kramer was still acting, and she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 (which was a hit with her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would also appeal to music lovers). Beginning in September of 2016 the singer was a part of two weeks participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth place. Also, she scored an adult contemporary hit with the song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
